Our Social Mission
Opportunity, Designed Around People
At Tea Ideas, inclusion begins with recognising what each person can contribute.
Rather than expecting everyone to fit into the same workplace structure, we adapt roles, communication, training and support around the individual. This allows different strengths to emerge and gives every person a more meaningful opportunity to participate, develop and succeed.
A Message from Our Founder
"When I founded Tea Ideas, I wanted to create something meaningful, not only through the tea we offer, but through the way we create opportunities for people.
Over the years, I have watched interns discover their direction, seniors rediscover a sense of purpose and persons with disabilities grow in confidence when their strengths and contributions are recognised.
What touches me most is seeing someone begin to believe in themselves.
Tea Ideas has played a part in shaping many lives, but every person who has journeyed with us has also shaped who we are today."

Introducing WISS™
Workplace Integration Support
WISS™ is Tea Ideas' proprietary post-employment workplace integration and retention system.
It begins after an employer has hired a person with a disability, and supports the employee, supervisors, co-workers and wider workplace through structured training, on-site facilitation and timely intervention.
Rather than recruiting or placing candidates, WISS™ helps existing employment relationships succeed.
The system focuses on practical workplace areas such as communication, judgement, boundaries, social appropriateness and workplace relationships, and helps address emerging challenges before they place employment at risk.
Through WISS™, employers are better equipped to build inclusive workplaces that are practical, sustainable and responsive to the needs of both the employee and the organisation.
